On Sheep, Diamonds, and Hogwarts

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.   — Douglas Adams

And so I continue on in this crazy little endeavor. Being out of the country during the holiday week has completely derailed my intentions of writing excessively this whole time. I have written some, but I became rather distracted by the beautiful Welsh countryside, the Harry Potter studio tour in London, and a very sweet marriage proposal. So now, I have a plethora of pictures, as well as a beautiful ring, by which to remember this trip. Another positive is this: I vastly expanded my ideas for the next book. What started as a very basic sketch in my head has now developed into a very exciting storyline, albeit still in the early outline stages. I don’t want to say anything yet, but inspiration hit me during our trip, and I’m very excited to say that I have great hope for my next project. It wasn’t my intention to jump to the other book before I finished the current one , but when my muse visits, I must listen to her song. No worries. The First is still coming steadily along, and I will be done soon. My unofficial release date is looking a little too close for comfort, but plans change. I may have to move it forward a few weeks, but I am still excited for what’s to come. Join me in celebrating the near future. Writing is mentally and emotionally exhausting, more so than anything I’ve ever done in my life. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for having such wonderful support and encouragement. Thank you all so much for your enduring patience.
