Don’t Panic

“Writing is easy. You only need to stare at a piece of blank paper until your forehead bleeds.” –Douglas Adams, Writer (1952-2001)

The trouble is, I know what to write. I just don’t always know how to get there. Bringing myself into this place of deep concentration just doesn’t work when I’ve got to cook, clean, and go to work, all the while my brain is moving along with great ideas that don’t always stay put until I can write them down. Plus I’m just exhausted by the end of the day. Mentally, physically, emotionally, psychologically drained. So here I am, writing this instead. Bad, bad, bad! Get back to work!

Well, you heard the boss.

At least I’ve got my towel (for those slim few who will appreciate the joke).
