If you head on over and peruse the blog post at Imagination Ether Press, you’ll find some fantastic and exciting things going on in the world of indie authors. There are several fellow authors spotlighted, including me. I met the author of the blog, Devon Winterson (a.k.a. Kimberly Grenfell), through a writing forum known as The Writer’s Beat, where I’ve learned a great deal, especially from her. Her recently self-published novel, The Perfect Player, is sitting in my Kindle queue as we speak. In her post, she states that “(s)pending a great deal of time in various writing circles helps one develop a ‘nose’ for who’s serious about their writing success, and who merely ‘dabbles’ or attempts self publishing….No doubt Lisa is the former—strong and serious with an eye on success—and you can help back her debut novel at her Kickstarter campaign: The First. View the video, and read sample chapters. Come visit Lisa’s website, and her blog.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
In my own humble opinion, of course. 🙂
